You can be there AND get paid for it! Who knows who you will meet and what the future holds for you.

Want to travel? How about working your way across across America, Europe or the exotic far East in various bars? Or how about working as a bartender aboard a cruise ship! Imagine the opportunities to visit various ports of call and spending your off time exploring exotic locales! All of things are possible while you get paid and possible even have room and board such as on a cruise ship or private yacht.

Of course, it is important that you have the skills to make a wide variety of drinks and be able to mix them up on the spot as requested. Often being able to mix that perfect drink that no one else knows about can bring you large tips and increased cash in your pocket. Practice makes perfect and that is so true of the bartending business.

Bartending school can cost $800 at a minimum but there are other ways to get started if you are short on cash. Get a good book and start to learn how to mix various drinks.As you learn, offer to tend bar at private parties, local dances or even at a small local establishment for little or no pay if necessary to get your start. Remember, the secret is to learn on the job serving customers actual drinks to continue to hone your craft. And good bartending is a true craft that brings large rewards if you apply yourself.
